World War Z, based on the Brad Pitt movie of the same name, will be launched in April this year.
Developed by Saber Interactive, World War Z eschews standard PVP and PVE modes by smashing them both together in a realistic (I mean, as realistic as a zombie apocalypse gets) setting which sees you team up with three other players to fight off an enemy squad while holding the line against hordes of the undead. It sounds absolutely insane, but you can see for yourself in the video below.
Launching with a plethora of modes on release such as Vaccine Hunt and Scavenge Raid, as well as the more standard Deathmatch-seque fare, it certainly looks to have the potential for incredible replay value - with its clear gameplay nods to The Division's PvPvE 'Darkzone' as well as the frantic PvE of Left4Dead.
World War Z launches on PS4, Xbox One and PC on April 16th 2019.
