Epic Games is showing no sign of slowing up after the reveal of its new store to rival Steam at the 2018 Game Awards.
Currently you can download Super Meat Boy for free until January 10th. This is a pretty sweet deal for a pretty sweet game (who doesn't like the low, low price of "nothing"?).
But after that things get even better.
Once Super Meat Boy leaves the store, it will be replaced by What Remains of Edith Finch — the critically acclaimed debut adventure from Giant Sparrow, which we simply adore.
It will be available for two weeks, so there is simply no excuse not to pick up this modern classic on your PC, and check out how the Epic Games Store stacks up against Steam. One thing's for sure: offering free quality games like this is a surefire way to get new fans.
We can only assume 2019 will be the start of a huge battle between the two digital behemoths, one which you might rightly describe as...Epic.
