Watch_Dogs Legion Heads to London, Allows Players to Play as Almost Everyone?
Watch_Dogs Legion will see Ubisoft’s near-future hack ‘em up head to London if a recent leak is to be believed.
As reported by Kotaku, a listing on Amazon confirmed the game’s name, its British “post-Brexit” setting, and more. The most interesting tidbit is that players will apparently be able to play as… anyone?
“Play as anyone, Every individual you meet in the open world, has a full set of animations, voice over, character traits and visuals that are generated & guided by gameplay systems...”
The (now removed) listing gives us a glimpse into what could be a game-changing feature for Legion; one that will allow players to experience the game from the point of view of characters — fully voiced and animated — that would normally simply be NPC’s. It’s ambitious to say the least and, according to Kotaku’s Jason Schreier, has been causing “a lot of headaches” for the game’s developers. We can't think why.
