The Division 2 recently received a patch to give the game an update for Agents playing on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Bumping the resolution to 4K and targeting 60fps, Patch 12.1 was welcomed by the community. However, as we pointed out in yesterday's recent First Impressions piece, something had gone awry with the PlayStation version.
Whilst the game had received a performance and graphical boost, features such as reflections and the game’s signature volumetric fog appeared to have been removed when playing on PlayStation 5. Thought of as more of a bug than a proper change, this theory was confirmed on Wednesday when an additional patch was released to reintroduce those missing features.
This aside, The Division 2 fares incredibly well on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. And if you missed the original review last year, you can read it here.
