Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is set for a full release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S this summer. What’s more, it will be free to all owners of the last-gen version of the game.

The news comes by way of the official Star Wars website, which was teasing a raft of Star Wars Day (May 4th if you weren’t already aware) reveals. Releasing this summer, the upgraded version of the game will bring “a number of technical improvements,” with more details to come “soon”.

The game has already been patched to run better on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles, but it’s safe to expect some more serious improvements to Star Wars take on the souls-like genre.

Following that patch the Xbox Series X is currently the front-runner for console versions (per Digital Foundry), but a native port for the new consoles could hopefully bring balance to the force once again (sorry!).

For those who don’t yet own the game, it’s worth noting that you can save 70% on both the standard and deluxe editions on PlayStation, Xbox and PC via both Steam and Origin. The offer lasts until May 12th.
