Bring out your dead! A Plague Tale: Innocence has a fabulous new gameplay trailer out which shows off some of Amicia's abilities as she and her brother Hugo try and outrun the Inquisition in 14th Century France.

Whether using the environment to take down foes or utilising the skills of alchemy and crafting to bolster your weaponry, Asobo Studio's action-adventure looks stunning. There's a distinct vibe of a medieval The Last Of Us as we follow the two kids through France, with the ever present rats acting as a real-life infected foe — but one which can be used to your advantage. There's a full guide to the narrative experience on the official website here!

A Plague Tale: Innocence is out on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on May 14th — check back for the Jump Dash Roll verdict!

I've been gaming since the days of the Amstrad. Huge RPG fan. Planescape: Torment tops my list, but if a game tells a good story, I'm interested. Absolutely not a fanboy of any specific console or PC - the proof is in the gaming pudding. Also, I like cake.
