Nintendo has announced that the Switch has become the fastest selling console in US history - beating the Wii into second place.
In 10 months since its launch on March 3rd, 2017 the Switch has sold 4.8 million units which is significantly greater than the Wii's 4 million boxes in the same time.
The Switch has soared thanks to an incredibly strong line-up of games, including Nintendo's very own The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Odyssey, both of which received numerous perfect scores from multiple publications. In 2018 the library will continue to grow with a variety of games including a new Fire Emblem and Bayonetta 1 & 2.
