Milestone today revealed the first two gameplay videos of the upcoming MXGP 2019 which showcases some adrenaline-packed dirt bike racing. The first video shows Romain Febvbre tackling Neuquén in Patagonia, while the second features Tim Gasjer navigating the course at Valkenswaard in the Netherlands. The team has a lot of experience in the motorbike field; their release of MotoGP 18 was a decent entry in a separate discipline to motocross, but showed off their knowledge of the machines and tracks.

The videos (below) are the precursor to the game's release in August, which is confirmed to include every rider, bike and team of the 2019 current MXGP season.

Players can compete in either the MX2 or MXGP categories, racing for a custom or official team depending on their preference. The new game will feature a brand-new track editor as well, allowing players to create their own circuits, customised with Motocross modules of their choice. Completed tracks can then be shared with the community and raced on.

Pre-orders are available from today, and physical pre-orders will include an in-game bonus of the Ultimate Fury pack which includes two different rider outfits consisting of helmet, googles, boots and gear alongside two animated bike liveries with frost and lightning effects.

MXGP 2019 releases on PS4, Xbox One and PC on August 27, 2019.

I've been gaming since the days of the Amstrad. Huge RPG fan. Planescape: Torment tops my list, but if a game tells a good story, I'm interested. Absolutely not a fanboy of any specific console or PC - the proof is in the gaming pudding. Also, I like cake.
