Horizon: Forbidden West is just mere months away, but that didn’t stop PlayStation and Guerilla Games stopping by The Game Awards 2021 to show off some of the "New Threats" players can expect to face come February.
Not dissimilar to previous trailers for the game, this latest clip blends gameplay and cinematics to showcase some of the many robotic threats Aloy will face in her journey through the titular Forbidden West as well as some of the new armour and weaponry at her disposal.
The sequel to Horizon: Zero Dawn appears to expand heavily on the original game, especially where combat is concerned, with multiple enemies seen to be attacking Aloy in a way that appears far more dynamic than in the original game. The trailer (above) also showcases a number of biomes, including the impressive looking underwater sections.
Having originally been revealed during the inaugural PlayStation 5 event in June 2020, Horizon: Forbidden West is finally set for release on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on February 18th 2022.
