Hollow Knight Silksong Releasing 2023, Day One on Xbox Game Pass | Xbox & Bethesda Showcase

Hollow Knight Silksong will launch on Xbox Game Pass when the highly anticipated indie game launches in 2023. The news arrived via the Xbox & Bethesda Showcase on Sunday and, whilst it lacked a release date, Xbox claimed that all titles shown during the briefing would release in the next 12 months.

The sequel to 2017’s Hollow Knight, Silksong looks to continue where the original game left off — a tight and tough Metroidvania that pulls no punches and looks incredible whilst doing it. The original game’s cute yet macabre hand-drawn style certainly belies the skill level required to beat it and I’d put good money on Silksong dialing things up when it comes to the deft approach players must take.

The game will launch in 2023 on PC, Mac, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. No PlayStation version has been announced at the time of writing, although the original Hollow Knight did eventually find its way to Sony’s platform.
