Gran Turismo Sport - December Update Released

Gran Turismo Sport was generally well received upon release, but one of its major criticisms was around the lack of content on release. Polyphony Digital today attempts to address that concern somewhat, with the release of a big December Update.

The main addition is the GT League, a campaign mode which lets you take on a number of races using the cars from your garage — as long as you have reached the prerequisite Driver Level required to enter.

Alongside the campaign are twelve new cars to race:

・Nissan Skyline GT-R V・spec II (R32) (N300)

・Nissan Skyline GT-R V・spec II Nür (R34) (N300)

・Ford F-150 SVT Raptor (N400)

・Lamborghini Countach LP400 (N400)

・Ferrari F40 (N500)

・Ferrari Enzo Ferrari (N700)

・KTM X-BOW R(N300)

・Suzuki Swift Sport (N100)

・Volkswagen Samba Bus Type 2 (T1) (N100)

・Chris Holstrom Concepts 1967 Chevy Nova (N700)

・Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible (C3) (N300)

There is also a new track to test your wheels out on: Kyoto Driving Park Yamagiwa + Miyabi.

Several other tweaks and minor improvements have been included in the December Update too. Hopefully this is a statement of intent from Polyphony about GT Sport, and further content is planned for future updates to bring the rather sparse entry in the series back on track. For now, the update is a welcome pre-Christmas present for existing players.
