Gothic Fairytale Lost in Random Announced at EA Play, Coming 2021
Lost in Random, a brand new EA Originals title, was revealed during EA Play on Thursday (Friday UK time) alongside a new trailer for Rocket Arena and the new Hazelight project It Takes Two.
Described as a “gothic fairytale action-adventure,” the game does appear to have a little bit of stop-motion, Tim Burton-esque charm about it. The game is set in a “twisted dystopia” filled with chaos and uncertainty and is said to have a “very modern message” — as vague as that sounds.
Developed by Swedish studio Zoink — best known for 2018’s Fe — the game stars a young girl named Even and her dice sidekick Dicey, and sees them taking on all sorts of eerie enemies in a suitably purple-hued world. You can hear more about the story in the teaser trailer (above).
Lost in Random is coming in 2021 to PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC.
