Far Cry 6 is Coming in February 2021, Breaking Bad's Giancarlo Esposito Will Play the Villain
Far Cry 6 is coming in February 2021 and Gus Fring is the bad guy.
Giancarlo Esposito, the actor behind Breaking Bad’s menacing, chicken-selling drug baron and The Mandalorian’s Moff Gideon, will take on the lead villain role in the new game which will release on February 18th 2021.
Initially revealed following a leak last week, the proper reveal came on Sunday from Ubisoft as a part of the first Ubisoft Forward event. No gameplay has been revealed at present. However, we do have a cutscene from the game to look over.
Esposito plays “El Presidente” Anton Castillo and delivers a looming performance in this first clip. A powerful monologue to his son Diego gives us a good idea about who this man is whilst the protests and riots outside his home show the fictional island of Yara show a country on the brink.
This is all we know so far, other than the game will launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC on February 18th 2021.
