S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 is launching first on Xbox Series and PC in 2022. The news comes by way of the Microsoft + Bethesda presentation during E3 2021, where we also got a first-look at gameplay.
Subtitled Heart of Chernobyl, the game is a sequel to the 2007 horror-based first-person shooter. Set in an irradiated Ukraine, the game looks incredible in its bleakness with pouring rain, and gruesome enemies being front and centre.
Described as a “next-gen game from the ground up,” it certainly appears to be taking advantage of the power of the latest in console and PC hardware.
