Far Cry 6 is launching in October and, unsurprisingly, there’s going to be some additional post-release content. Excitingly, that DLC is going to let us play as some of the series’ iconic villains and revisit the 80s action movie world of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.
Announced during the Ubisoft Forward event on Saturday, players who purchase the Far Cry 6 season pass will have access to this DLC as soon as it launches.
The Become the Villain DLC will allow players to take control of the fan favourite sadist Vaas, the charismatic dictator Pagan Min and religious cult leader Joseph Seed across a variety of seemingly mind-bending missions.
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is a wonderfully tongue-in-cheek game that apes the over the top action movies of the 1980s and is as campy as it sounds. Playing as Sergeant Rex "Power" Colt, you’re tasked with fighting gigantic robot dinosaurs and being bathed in neon, mainly. Blood Dragon was released on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 so this is a more than welcome return. That said, it’s a shame we only saw a logo here.
