Sea of Thieves meets Pirates of the Caribbean in the most natural crossover possible in Sea of Thieves: A Pirates Life. A free content drop for Sea of Thieves, it was announced during the Microsoft + Bethesda presentation at E3 2021.
Starring Captain Jack Sparrow, Davy Jones and a host of other memorable faces from Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, it’s a whole new adventure for players to undertake and it launches on June 22nd.
Whether the Pirates franchise is the most relevant right now is certainly up for debate. However, this crossover emphasises the clear strategy that the House of Mouse is employing when it comes to games. Check out a video below:
