E3 2019: The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening Remake Gets Gameplay Trailer, Releases September 2019

The powerfully adorable remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening will release this September.

Announced alongside a new gameplay trailer as part of a Nintendo Direct during E3 2019, the remake looks to be jam-packed with charm; recreating the feeling of wonder you first felt when playing this game, whilst bringing fans something new at the same time.

The incredibly rendered characters and world bring Link’s Awakening to life like never before. The simple Plasticine-like world is bold and bright, gameplay looks smooth and the whole thing is just screaming to be played.

Thankfully, we won’t have to wait long. The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Remake releases on Nintendo Switch on September 20th, 2019. Fans in Europe also have the chance of snagging an amazing, retro special edition too.

Updated graphics and an overload of cute isn’t the only thing that Link’s Awakening Remake is bringing to the table. Players will now also be able to create (and share) dungeons of their very own in what looks like a small scale ‘Zelda Maker’. So, once your adventure is over, it looks like there’ll be even more to play.
