E3 2019: Cyberpunk 2077 Gets Keanu Reeves, New Trailer, 2020 Release Date
Cyberpunk 2077 has had quite the showing at E3 2019. CD Projekt RED’s highly anticipated RPG got a whole lot of stage time during the Xbox press conference. This included: a new cinematic trailer, a release date and… Keanu Reeves?!
The new trailer (see below) offered up little to nothing in terms of gameplay, but did give us a glimpse at some of the characters of Cyberpunk and a closer look at the world we’ll no doubt be inhabiting for hours on end. Anyone looking for something gritty, brooding and in the ‘Blade Runner’ realm will be all over this. We knew that already though.
What we didn’t know is the release date. That was something Keanu Reeves came to tell us. Appearing on the Xbox E3 stage, Keanu’s presence was prefaced by a short trailer showcasing his inclusion in the game — how big his role will be is anyone’s guess right now — before revealing an April 16th, 2020 release date.
Cyberpunk 2077 looks every inch as cool as Keanu Reeves — that’s really cool, FYI — and will release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
