Death Stranding Release Date Leaked?

Did PlayStation Taiwan just accidentally confirm the release date of Death Stranding? Quite possibly!

November 8th, 2019 is the date, as captured in a (now deleted) Tweet from the PlayStation Taiwan account. News has flooded the internet, with Push Square amongst the first to share the news.

If correct, Hideo Kojima’s hugely anticipated title could be coming a lot sooner than we initially thought.

Right now, a strange teaser is streaming on the PlayStation Twitch channel and has been for some time. That stream, plus teases on Twitter from voice actors like Troy Baker and even Kojima himself have pointed to some kind of announcement being made soon.

Could it be leading to this huge announcement?

Death Stranding is a PlayStation exclusive title developed by Kojima Productions. The game was announced at E3 in 2016 following Hideo Kojima’s dramatic split from Konami. The auteur developer is known for his unconventional approach to, well, everything with his audience (that’s me!) feeding off every scrap of information in the lead up to a new release.

This announcement would be one of seismic proportions and would certainly keep all eyes on Kojima and his game in the lead up to E3, even if PlayStation isn’t there.
