Alan Wake II is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC in 2023. The game was announced via a short teaser during The Game Awards 2021.
A sequel thirteen years in the making, the new game brings back Remedy Entertainment’s titular thriller novelist for a dark new adventure. Not much can be gleaned from the trailer itself, however Sam Lake from Remedy described the new game as “Remedy’s first survival horror game” (per PlayStation Blog).
Alan Wake has had somewhat of a resurgence recently, with references to the character in Control, also developed by Remedy, and the release of Alan Wake: Remastered for PlayStation, Xbox and PC in September 2021.
Alan Wake II is currently set for release in 2023.
